Maledon Selected Among Top 164 Attorneys In The Nation

February 12, 2010

William Maledon, a founder of the Phoenix law firm of Osborn Maledon, P.A., and leader of its complex commercial litigation practice, has been named a BTI Client Service All-Star, one of 164 attorneys in the nation to be singled out for the honor.

The award is based on feedback from more than 250 corporate counsel at the world’s largest organizations.

Maledon was recognized by those counsel as being “very commanding in the courtroom,” BTI said, adding, “Out of the courtroom, clients praise him for understanding their business and providing results in a cost-conscious manner. A general counsel at a leading private manufacturer notes, he ‘knows the company very well and is very good at making sure we get good value for the dollar.’”

“BTI asks general counsel and their reports to delineate, unprompted, the attorneys delivering the absolute best client service,” wrote The BTI Consulting Group of Wellesley, Mass.

It added, “The only possible path to The BTI Client Service All-Stars award is an unprompted, unequivocal recommendation from corporate counsel.”

Maledon has a long list of honors. Last year, he was appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court to a second three-year term on the Federal Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure. He was named Phoenix “Bet-the- Company” Litigator of the Year by The Best Lawyers in America (2010). Chambers USA, an international legal rating organization, recently named him one of 64 trial attorneys designated “Nationwide Leaders.”
