Osborn Maledon, P.A. has earned 22 first-tier rankings in the 2018 “Best Law Firms” eighth annual edition, sponsored by Best Lawyers®, the oldest peer-review publication in the legal profession.

In total rankings (including second and third tiers), Osborn Maledon ranked nationally in eight practice areas and regionally in 27 practice areas. Receiving a tier designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity, according to Best Lawyers.

In August, Best Lawyers gave22 of the firm’s attorneys national recognition in the 2018 edition and singled out four Osborn Maledon attorneys as “Phoenix Lawyer of the Year” in their practice areas; only a single lawyer in a practice area in each community is selected as “Lawyer of the Year.” The four are Lynne Adams (education law); Tom Curzon (corporate law); Brett Dunkelman (litigation-intellectual property); and Christopher Stachowiak (securities/capital markets law).

Osborn Maledon earned first-tier rankings among firms in the Phoenix area for: antitrust; appellate, arbitration; bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization; commercial litigation; corporate; criminal defense – white collar; employment law – management; ethics and professional responsibility law; legal malpractice law (defendants); litigation (antitrust); litigation (construction); litigation (intellectual property); litigation (labor & employment); litigation (mergers & acquisitions); litigation (patent); litigation (securities); mediation; mergers & acquisitions; real estate law; securities/capital markets law; and securities regulation practices.

“We are very pleased to have our law firm recognized,” said Scott Rodgers, Osborn Maledon managing partner. “We consider this recognition not only for the attorneys, but the entire staff, who bring a great combination of excellence and breadth of expertise.”
