Our clients increasingly need representation not only in court, but before Arizona administrative and regulatory agencies. Osborn Maledon is particularly well-suited to provide services in this area.
We have several lawyers with extensive experience in state government, and have capitalized on that experience to build a substantial practice before state agencies. We represent the country's largest telecommunications provider before the Arizona Corporation Commission, and have been closely involved on behalf of that client and others in the complex ongoing process of telecommunications deregulation. We advise a major cable television company on municipal licensing and other regulatory matters throughout the state.
We have particular expertise in state and local procurement, and have been involved in many of the major procurement disputes in the past several years in Arizona, both at the administrative level and in subsequent court proceedings. Among others, we have successfully represented the on-line vendor for the Arizona Lottery and the advertising firm for the Lottery in defending their substantial contract awards.
We also are among the few firms in Arizona with expertise in Arizona State Land Department matters, and have represented a number of clients in connection with obtaining state land leases. We have also been involved in major administrative matters before the Department and in court involving state land leases and sales.
In addition, we regularly represent clients before other major Arizona regulatory boards and administrative agencies. We also have an extensive practice representing clients before similar boards and agencies in Arizona counties, cities, and towns.
