Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers has become highly regarded as a guide to legal excellence.  Ratings are based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which attorneys vote on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas, and lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed.  Corporate Counsel magazine has called it "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."

Scott Rodgers, Osborn Maledon managing partner, said the firm is proud of its strong showing, adding, “While we are proud to be recognized, we also know that Osborn Maledon’s reputation for quality work and responsive client service is a joint enterprise of all our talented lawyers and staff.”
