Kimberly Friday and Payslie Bowman named Top Pro Bono Attorneys for 2021

Kimberly Friday and Payslie Bowman have been honored by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education as 2021 recipients of the Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys in Arizona awards.

The awards recognize attorneys who gave “tirelessly” to help Arizonans who otherwise would not have legal resources. Both lawyers were nominated for their work with the Florence Volunteer Lawyers Program, a nonprofit program to assist immigrants with legal challenges.

Working with the Florence Volunteer Lawyers Program, Bowman and Friday represented two detained noncitizens who challenged their detentions as unconstitutional in federal court. Both clients have since been released from civil detention.

Bowman is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, and Friday is a partner whose practice focuses on False Claims cases, internal investigations and civil litigation.
