Overview

Annabel first joined Osborn Maledon as a Summer Associate working on projects related to Government and Regulatory Law, Criminal Defense, and Commercial Transactions. She has completed extensive research into Arizona’s constitutional history, specifically the original intent of Arizona’s Gift Clause. In 2020, she also assisted in a key transaction for the sale of CBD products, helping to outline the state and federal regulations related to a nationwide product.

For two years, Annabel was part of the Workers’ Rights Clinic at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, representing an individual fighting for unpaid wages. In her capacity as a Certified Limited Practice Student Fellow, she authored a legal manual on T-Visa relief for victims of labor trafficking and successfully briefed a response to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services securing immigration status for a victim of labor trafficking.

A native of Arizona, Annabel has spent many years, and much of her childhood, advocating for constitutional protections and due process for immigrants. Before law school, she was an accredited representative at The Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project, where she conducted Know Your Rights presentations and supported individuals in removal proceedings before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. During this time, she also volunteered her time at local DACA and Citizenship fairs, completing critical and complex immigration forms for individuals.

Following the completion of her undergraduate degree at Scripps College, Annabel served as a Fulbright Scholar in Mérida, México, where she was in a unique position to learn about the politics and concerns afflicting the U.S. border.

Annabel is fluent in Spanish and enjoys traveling. Although she is first and foremost a lover of traditional Mexican cooking, she makes a point to never miss the food samples on a trip to Costco.
