Kimberly Ruht is an associate in the firm’s Energy and Utility Law practice group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of utility regulation, including: ratemaking, resource planning, renewable energy and energy efficiency portfolio standards and programs, rulemaking, investigations, customer complaints, and federal compliance matters. She has experience representing and advising energy developers, industry associations, alternative energy companies, public service corporations, and entities that provide services to utilities.
Kimberly started her career as a Staff Attorney at the Arizona Corporation Commission, after which she joined two of the largest investor-electric utilities in the State, working in both legal and regulatory roles. She is well known in the industry and has extensive experience building regulatory relationships and participating in the development of the rules and regulatory policy governing the utility industry.
