The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments sent four candidates to the Governor for consideration to fill the vacancy on Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals created by the passing of Judge Jon W. Thompson.

The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments sent four candidates to the Governor for consideration to fill the vacancy on Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals created by the passing of Judge Jon W. Thompson.

The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments narrowed the list of candidates to fill the vacancy on Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals created by the passing of Judge Jon W. Thompson:

  • Veronika Fabian, of Choi & Fabian, PLC
  • Hon. Joseph P. Goldstein, a Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore and Commissioner
  • William P. Ring, of the Coconino County Attorney’s Office
  • Hon. D. Steven Williams, an Apache County Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore, the Presiding Judge of the Eagar Magistrate Court, and a member of the Navajo County Board of Supervisors

Governor Ducey will make the appointment in due course.
