The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments has recommended ten nominees to Governor Doug Ducey to fill the vacancy on Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals created by the resignation of Judge Diane Johnsen.
The Commission on Appellate Court Appointments has recommended ten nominees to Governor Doug Ducey to fill the vacancy on Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals created by Judge Johnsen’s resignation:
- Hon. Cynthia Bailey, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge
- Michael S. Catlett of Quarles & Brady, LLP
- Ann B. Ching, an Associate Clinical Professor of Law at the ASU Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law
- Hon. Christopher A. Coury, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge
- Michael E. Gottfried, an Assistant Attorney General at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office
- Andrew M. Jacobs of Snell & Wilmer, LLP
- Hon. Daniel J. Kiley, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge
- Hon. Joseph P. Mikitish, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge
- Hon. Sigmund G. Popko, a Maricopa County Superior Court Commissioner
- Hon. Joshua D. Rogers, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge
Governor Ducey will appoint one of these nominees to fill the Division One vacancy.
