Overview

Angel Lockhart is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Before joining Osborn Maledon, Angel served as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, and the Arizona Supreme Court. As a law clerk, she drafted legal opinions and bench memoranda across complex areas of federal and state law. 

Angel graduated with her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where she received the Herbert L. Caplan Prize for Creative Legal Thinking and the Pro Bono Service Award. During law school, Angel was a student-attorney at the Federal Criminal Justice Clinic, representing indigent clients in federal court. 

Angel holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She is an active community leader, serving as the Executive Administrator for the Greater Mountain States Conference of the PCAFI, Inc., the Vice President for the United Women’s Alliance at Free to Worship Ministries, and a mentor to many children, including her thirteen nieces and nephews. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, rooting for her favorite football and basketball teams, and attending stand-up comedy shows.
