Osborn Maledon, P.A. Lawyers Singled Out In Two New Legal Guides

October 25, 2010

Osborn Maledon, P.A. a leading Phoenix law firm, was named “highly recommended,” the highest possible ranking, in the fourth annual edition of Benchmark Litigation, a guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys. In the same week, four Osborn Maledon attorneys were selected as Best Lawyers’ 2011 “Lawyers of the Year” in Phoenix.

In addition to ranking the firm, Benchmark, the only national publication that focuses exclusively on litigation, named three Osborn Maledon litigators as “litigation stars,” and two others as “future stars.” The “litigation stars” are Ronda Fisk, William Maledon and David Rosenbaum. The “future stars” are Tim Eckstein and Mark Hummels.

Best Lawyers selected Thomas Curzon as Phoenix Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year, Mark Harrison as Phoenix Ethics and Professional Responsibility Lawyer of the Year, Maledon as Phoenix Antitrust Lawyer of the Year and Rosenbaum as Phoenix Bet-the-Company Litigator of the Year.

Benchmark’s results are the culmination of a six-month research period that includes extensive interviews with litigators and their clients. During the interviews, reviewers examine recent casework handled by the firms and ask sources to offer their professional opinions on litigators. Best Lawyers, which earlier this year recognized 22 Osborn Maledon attorneys as among the best in Arizona, annually selects a single lawyer in each specialty in each community as “Lawyer of the Year.” Osborn’s showing of four attorneys was the most of any Phoenix-based law firm. Best Lawyers compiles its list by conducting peer-review surveys in which leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The lawyers honored as “Lawyers of the Year” received particularly high ratings in the surveys for their abilities, professionalism, and integrity. For more information, go to www.bestlawyers.com.
