Osborn Maledon ranked in “Best Law Firms” 2017 by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers®

November 1, 2016

The Phoenix law firm of Osborn Maledon, P.A. has earned 23 first-tier rankings in the 2017 “Best Law Firms” seventh annual edition, sponsored by Best Lawyers®, the oldest peer-review publication in the legal profession.

In total rankings (including second and third tiers), Osborn Maledon ranked nationally in nine practice areas and regionally in 28 practice areas. Receiving a tier designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients for their abilities, their professionalism and their integrity, according to Best Lawyers.

In August, Best Lawyers also honored 25 of the firm’s 50 attorneys with national recognition in its 2017 edition and singled out four Osborn Maledon attorneys as “Phoenix Lawyer of the Year” in their practices, a designation given to only a single lawyer in each practice area in a community. The four are Maureen Beyers (arbitration), Elizabeth Chatham (immigration), Brett Dunkelman (patent litigation) and Christopher Stachowiak (securities regulation).

Osborn Maledon earned first-tier rankings among firms in the Phoenix area for 23 practice areas: antitrust; appellate, arbitration; bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization; commercial litigation; corporate; criminal defense – white collar; employment law – management; entertainment law (motion pictures & television); ethics and professional responsibility law; legal malpractice law (defendants); litigation (antitrust); litigation (construction); litigation (intellectual property); litigation (labor & employment); litigation (mergers & acquisitions); litigation (patent); litigation (securities); mediation; mergers & acquisitions; real estate law; securities/capital markets law; and securities regulation practices.
