Overview

As an attorney in the firm’s corporate group, Chardon is a vital resource to emerging, growth, and established companies in connection with their operating in the ordinary course, obtaining financing, or positioning themselves for eventual mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Osborn Maledon, Chardon was an associate at the international law firm Mayer Brown in their Corporate & Securities practice and was a member of their Fund Formation & Investment Management and Mergers & Acquisitions groups.

A significant part of Chardon’s practice is representing clients in corporate matters and business transactions. He has played an active role in every part of a business’s lifecycle, including with respect to formation, corporate governance, financing, and acquisitions and dispositions, for which he has experience representing both sellers and purchasers through stock and asset purchases and sales, mergers, joint ventures, and reorganizations. His experience with established institutions and fund formation is particularly valuable to his start-up clients, acting both as counsel and mentor to entrepreneurs with limited industry knowledge and experience in the local market.

Chardon graduated with honors from the University of Michigan Law School.
