Overview
Daniel Bowman is an attorney in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Before joining Osborn Maledon, Daniel served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Carolyn McHugh on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, Judge Kathleen Cardone on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, and Chief Justice Robert Brutinel on the Arizona Supreme Court. As a law clerk, Daniel honed his ability to predict how courts may resolve legal conflicts. He now leverages that experience to help clients understand their litigation risks and overcome legal challenges.
Daniel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. He was elected class speaker by his peers and awarded the Ralph W. Aigler Memorial Award based on his academic achievements. As a law student, Daniel worked for the Coconino County Attorney’s Office, externed for Justice Clint Bolick at the Arizona Supreme Court, and interned with various immigration firms and nonprofit organizations. He worked as a Senior Writing Fellow and as a teaching assistant for Contracts and for Constitutional Law, was a national finalist in the Pace Environmental Moot Court Competition, and was a member of several law-school committees. He also spent a substantial amount of time assisting asylum seekers in the greater Tucson area by volunteering with Keep Tucson Together, a pro bono immigration clinic.
Prior to law school, Daniel worked as a 911 dispatcher for the Arizona Department of Public Safety for over four years. Daniel holds bachelor’s degrees from Northern Arizona University for History and for Criminology and Criminal Justice. During his free time, Daniel and his wife Becca love to hike, camp, and explore Arizona with their two silly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
