Overview

Gideon’s practice focuses on litigation. Before joining Osborn Maledon, Gideon clerked for Judge Jennifer G. Zipps of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. As a law clerk, he drafted civil orders and assisted in the administration of criminal and civil jury trials. He also externed for Judge Daniel J. Kiley of the Maricopa County Superior Court and Judge Jennifer M. Perkins of the Arizona Court of Appeals. His experience in trial and appellate courts provides him insight into how judges and juries decide legal and factual disputes. He relies on this experience, and his prior work as a teacher and private investigator, when advocating for clients, explaining complex legal issues, uncovering facts in discovery, and preparing for trial.

Gideon graduated summa cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. In law school, he was a teaching assistant, O’Connor Honors Fellow, Note and Comment Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal, and Center Scholar for ASU’s Center for Law, Science, and Innovation.
